Foster Family Spotlight: Parker

Parker’s journey as a foster parent has been one of love, mentorship, and lasting impact. She not only fostered but co-parented and mentored the biological parents of her foster daughter—remaining a part of their lives even after reunification.  

"Even after reunification, I’ve continued to love this child. She still calls me ‘Auntie,’ and I talk with her and her mom every other day. One day, her family told me, ‘We’re so thankful for you and that you’re still present for us.’ That moment showed me the true impact of fostering."

Parker’s journey didn’t stop there—last month, she officially adopted A.P., her forever daughter.

Her advice to those considering fostering? “Build your village. You will not be alone, and they’ll be there to support you.”
