Barbara & Barney Prestridge

Meet the Prestridge Family our Foster Family of the Month! 

Barbara and Barney have been licensed since 2013 and have fostered about 100 children!! They are licensed for 5 children, and almost always have a full house! This family works in partnership with HFC, case management and bio families. Barbara does a fantastic job communicating with the children’s family members and even continues supporting families even after the children are reunified by babysitting for families while they work or when they need a little break. We asked Barbara what her favorite part of fostering is and she shared, “Watching the children be reunited with their parents.”
