This is a professional position responsible for determining the eligibility of clients under the federally funded programs: TANF, Title IV-E Foster Care, Independent Living and Adoptions.

- Establish and maintain positive working relationship with HFC customers
- Process foster care eligibility determinations and adoption eligibility determinations associated with Title IV-E and TANF
- Process foster care, adoption and independent living Medicaid in FSFN
- Apply for children’s Medicaid and enroll the children in sunshine child welfare specialty plans
- Provide pre-approved training to contracted providers as required
- Prepare and submit to supervisor appropriate reports and assist with all audit reviews
- Ensure that all case files and FSFN Filing Cabinet contain appropriate documentation to substantiate and justify Title IV-E and foster care adoptions determinations and claims as required by state and federal requirements
- Enter placement data into FSFN
- Research discrepancies in the systems
- Assist in reconciliation between systems
- Perform special projects as assigned

HS Grad or GED required. Experience in child welfare system required. Two years of office experience.

Bachelors degree in Social Work or related field preferred.
