This is a professional position responsible for providing support to the licensing/relicensing staff and licensing/relicensing of foster family homes.
-
- Establish and maintain positive working relationship with HFC partners
- Provide ongoing support to licensing/relicensing staff and foster homes as needed
- Provide education and awareness of the dependency system process to the foster caregivers
- Assist with referrals for service for the foster home and foster caregivers
- Participate in the following meetings: quarterly meetings with licensing and STFC providers, weekly placements/licensing match meetings, monthly TLC Foster Home and Caregiver Advisory Council meetings
- Facilitate and manage HUB foster homes
- Complete home studies timely
- Ensure timely tracking and submission of licensing/relicensing files are submitted to the Department of Children and Families
- Perform special projects as assigned

Bachelors degree in Social Work or related field. Florida Child Welfare Certification required.

Experience working in foster home licensing preferred.
