Meet the Hargroves

Meet the Hargrove Family!  Five years ago, Levi and Maria began their foster care journey and they have fostered 10 children and are known as champions for teens. Levi is a High School Economics Teacher, Football and Wrestling Coach for Polk County Public Schools.

The Hargroves have helped many teens transition back home with their parents as well as those transitioning out of foster care. They remain in contact with the teens after they leave their home to continue to provide love and support. They’re known for including the teens in all of their family activities, vacations and encourage them to participate in activities and assist them in preparing for adulthood.

Did you know? In Polk, Highlands and Hardee Counties, there is an urgent need for more 70 more foster families who are willing to open their heart and homes to children and teens.
