Adoption Success Stories: Ben

"As I sit here thinking of life and what our family has become over the past couple of years, I have a mix of emotions. If anyone knows me, they know how much I love my kids, but there is more to the story than most know. 

Raising a family is real work, and I am not sure if things would be different if Lynn and I had our children like most do. 

The exception to our family is that everyone is adopted except for me; that includes Lynn. I do not know how it feels to be in their shoes, as I have never had to walk even the slightest step down the path that was chosen for them. 

I can honestly say that I would not have it any other way. 

These kids may not contain any of my DNA, but they have found a place in my heart that they will always be. Simply put, we are family and nothing will change that. My kids are my world and I hope that they know they are loved to no end by Lynn and I. 

There are many kids out there who need this same kind of love.  If adoption is not your thing, that is okay. Just do what you can to try and make this world a little better everyday. 

Invest in future, invest in the children."
