Let’s take a moment and think about adoption.
Let’s think about the kids that need homes, the circumstances that lead them to need a family, and what type of adoptive families we really need.
Recently, a wonderful mother of three beautiful children she and her husband adopted sent me this powerful quote from Jody Landers stating, “A child born to another woman calls me mommy...the magnitude of that tragedy and the depth of that privilege are not lost on me”.

Passion is an intensely emotional and compelling feeling of enthusiasm or desire for something. That is the term which comes to mind when describing The Heartland For Children staff who train and recruit foster and adoptive parents. They are not only knowledgeable professionals, competent in their vocation, but passionate about recruiting and training motivated people with a desire to make a difference in a young person’s life.
