This is a professional position responsible for supporting the adoption team to those interested in learning more about becoming adoptive parents and post adoption services.

- Establishes and maintains positive working relationship with HFC customers
- Performs routine administrative adoption functions to include drafting correspondence, scheduling appointments, organizing/maintaining paper and electronic files, ordering/assembling adoption backpacks/bags and provide information to callers
- Provide assistance to post adoption services with correspondence, tracking, communicating with families and post adoption events
- Maintains the annual adoption training calendar, staffing calendar and coordinating conference calls and meetings
- Completes adoption inquires, retrieving/analyzing client data and reports
- Register families for the adoption training, assist with informational night and Adoption 101 preparation
- Composes and distributes meeting notes, correspondence and reports
- Retrieve, complies, maintain and organize data from FSFN and other tracking systems
- Monitors and tracks adoption and post adoption assignments and requested documents
- Request documents as identified from various agencies
- Provides coverage as needed for foster home inquiries
- Performs other unit duties as assigned

High school diploma or GED required.

Three years data entry experience in a child welfare or related field preferred. Florida Safe Families Network (FSFN) experience preferred.
