This is a professional position responsible for the training and licensing of quality foster family homes in Circuit 10.

- Establish and maintain a positive working relationship with HFC customers
- Recruit and pre-screen prospective foster families for pre-service classes
- Train pre-service/in-service training for foster parents
- Enter family information into licensing database
- Ensure all screening requirements are completed in a timely manner
- Arrange and participate in recruitment activities
- Demonstrate independent judgment when assessing families
- Conduct initial home studies and secure signatures as required within the specified time frames
- Monitor completion of training requirements for Foster Families
- Complete licensing files that meet licensing standards
- Demonstrate competency in training adult learners
- Conduct Passport to Parenting pre-service training and Orientation presentations
- Complete peer reviews on licensing files
- Participate in Performance Quality Improvement meetings
- Participate in presentation calls and assisting placements in working with new foster parents regarding their initial placement
- Demonstrates cultural and age-specific competencies in interactions with clients, families, co-workers and customers
- Completes special projects as assigned within designated time frames
- Perform special projects as assigned

Bachelor's degree in social work or related field requried. Florida Child Welfare Certification required. Two years working with children, adolescents and families required.

Experience in licensing preferred.
