This is a professional position responsible for the organization, coordination and implementation of a project to improve the well-being and resiliency in children and families through trauma informed care and trauma informed response, requiring a high level of independence, initiative and accountability.

- Establishes and maintains positive working relationship with HFC internal and external customers
- Maintains current knowledge on effective trauma informed responses
- Data tracking, management and reporting
- Training of staff at Central Florida Health Care (CFHC) and other related partner agency staff on trauma and resilience
- Develop strong relationships with partner agency leadership and staff
- Understanding of existing community resources and how to access them
- Understand CFHC’s service delivery system and the role of the ACE’s screening in the healthcare environment
- Provide quality and effective training/information on adverse childhood experiences, resilience and trauma informed care and responses to community stakeholders
- Participate and complete all mandatory train the trainer courses to be prepared to fully execute specific curriculums
- Ability to use a variety of learning/training concepts and principles is required along with knowledge of adult learning
- Tracking and reporting on all donor grant program activities, including those outlined in the grant agreement
- Planning, attending and coordinating meetings and special events as needed
- Overseeing the financial management of project budget
- Carrying out various administrative tasks
- Formulating plans and priorities, in cooperation with other staff members and community partners
- Requires flexibility in schedule to meet department needs, including occasional evening and weekend hours
- Applies analytical and creative problem solving skills
- Travel as required for position location and as required by grantor
- Coordinate, manage, track and report on contracted grant services
- Identify, order and manage education materials for use in training staff, community partners, etc.
- Provide weekly updates to HFC management
- Perform special projects as assigned

Bachelor’s degree in Social Work, Nursing or related field and a minimum of two years of professional experience in the related field required.

Experience working within or with medical providers and trauma informed certification preferred.
